The vessel Thien Long 01 has successfully rescued the fishing boat BTh 89784 TS and three fishermen in distress off the coast of Binh Thuan province on March 7th, 2022.

At 23:55 on March 7th, 2022, the fishing boat BTh 89784 TS, with a capacity of 33 horsepower and 03 workers, owned and captained by Mr. Ngo Phong Phi (born in 1985, residing in Thuong Chau/Ngu Phung/Phu Quy), was fishing in the East-Northeast region of Vung Tau, about 85 nautical miles, 25 nautical miles west of Phu Quy Island (at coordinates 10°06’N – 109°41’E) when it was hit by big waves and strong winds, causing it to sink. All of the crew members were safely rescued by vessel Thien Long 01, belonging to the HD MARINE, which was on duty at the Ruby oilfield, at 01:40 on March 8th, 2022 at position 10°32’N – 108°28’E.
